Separate the fastener into its male & female parts, select the male part and place it flat side down.

Cut a length of rod, check the fit before gluing it into the hole at the back of the fastener, allow to dry.

Carefully remove the existing steering wheel in the interior with the plastic snips.

Drill a 1mm hole with the pin vice in the centre of where the steering column was.

Insert the new steering wheel, trimming the rod to fit. Once satisfied with its placement glue it into position.
